After studying Cultural Anthropology at Charles University in Prague he started working as a product photographer for Story magazine in 2001.
From 2004 up till now he works as a photographer for AFP – Agence France Presse in Czech Republic.
He has been a Karlovy Vary International Film Festival photographer since 2005.
Between 2010–2013, a personal photographer for the Czech President Vaclav Klaus.
Awarded 18 times in the Czech Press Photo contest including the photo of the year 2006.
He spends his free time documenting life in Prague.
